14 August: anniversary of the birth of my golden girl. I admit the appropriation! (una tantum)When Irene was a little girl, we often would go to a playground in Milano where Iry used to enjoy very muchthe trampolines, or as we called them, the jumparelli. One day Grandma Silvia, who was visiting, spotted a little boy beside whom Irene was bouncing up and down, who, jumping and trying to catch the point where they would be at the same height, whispered to her'Hi, Golden!' Can you blame him?

In the previous days I was pervaded by a vitality, a desire to go to Milan to celebrate this day, than ever!  We jumped into the car, with dear Samantha too. During the journey I felt like I was flying.

In Milan, I drove, we walked through the streets and I talked to the people and looked at the places, realising that I felt love.  Since I left ten years ago, the city has changed, but for the better; here we are in the CityLife are, which I had never seen before!  Iry and I had our birthday coffee here, of course!

Milan runs through my veins. Or I flow in hers. It's the city where I grew up, where I became a woman. I am proud of it and I am grateful that there I met Paolo there and that my daughter was born there. One day maybe she will tell me where she became a woman, but this is a good start.

It is a place where I could, had to have open horizons to claim my nature, learn from everything and everyone, even leaving for a specific purpose. Now I can live anywhere, as long as I will be able to fulfil the fragrant alchemy No. 6.

So long, Milano!
